Red Sea REEFER Rimless Reef-Ready Aquarium System – Nano – White

Red Sea’s Reefer series of Reef Systems, provide advanced hobbyists with a solid foundation for building a reef or marine aquarium. The Reefer Nano combines a rimless, ultra-clear glass aquarium, with an elegant cabinet and a comprehensive water management system. The water management system includes a professional sump with integrated automatic top-up, and Red Sea’s unique silent down-flow system. This innovative system has been designed for ease of operation, while enabling the advanced hobbyist to install a limitless choice of lighting, filtration, circulation and controllers to create a specially customized system.

The Reefer Nano has been constructed from bevelled-edge, ultra-clear, 3/10″ thick glass, to support the elegant and modern rimless design. The 21 gallon aquarium “floats” on a recessed base above the cabinet, which seamlessly follows the contour of the glass. The marine-spec laminated cabinet that houses the sump, is smartly finished with weatherproof, epoxy-painted doors. The beautiful modern design of the Reefer Nano will enhance the look of any living space, offering something that no piece of art can; the beauty of living, moving, vibrantly colored fish, corals and other aquatic life.

The Red Sea Reefer Nano features an additional emergency overflow pipe, providing an unrestricted free flow of water directly to the 7-gallon sump. Upon entering the sump, the water passes through a 200 micron mechanical filter bag, before entering the filtration compartment that maintains a constant water height, making it suitable for all skimmers and other reactors. Removable surface-skimming combs surround the top of the centrally located overflow box that houses the downpipe, sump return pipe, and the discreet multi-directional return outlet nozzle.

In order to remove any air bubbles that may have escaped from the skimmer, the water passes through a bubble-stripping cascade on its way to the return pump chamber. To ensure a constant water level in the pump compartment, the Reefer sump includes an integrated automatic freshwater top-up unit, guaranteeing a constant, stable water flow throughout the entire system. For convenience and easy operation, the Red Sea Reefer series is a complete self-assembly kit, all pipe work is ready without the need for any gluing!
