These easy-to-install cartridges remove gasses, odors and discoloration from your water, leaving it clearer and your fish in a healthier environment. The filter works best in a small, rectangular tank, but it’s appropriate for all tank shapes! The small filter and cartridges are made to fit in lower-volume tanks like beta fish vases. For best results, soak the cartridge in water first, rinse, then install. Replace often for optimal filtration.

Each filter contains carbon and zeolite filter material for chemical filtration, plus a foam block filter for mechanical and biological filtration. The activated carbon removes gasses and odors from the water, zeolite crystals eliminate ammonia and the foam blocks strain out any particulates.

Cartridges should be replaced once a month.
