PL reduces ammonia nitrogen levels, eliminates organic sludge, plus it reduces and breaks down dead algae, bird droppings and fish food. This significantly reduces biological oxygen demand and toxic odors produced from hydrogen sulphide, while improving dissolved oxygen levels. The photosynthetic bacteria encourage the flocculation and settling of organic as well as inorganic fragments in order to decrease cloudy water for a better looking decorative pond.
